Privacy Policy

What we collect when you enquire with us, what we do with it, who else sees it, and how to tell us to stop. Written for India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Last updated 12 September 2026 · Applies to djgroups.in

Who this policy applies to

This policy explains how DJ Square Infraa — a builder and developer operating in Chennai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru — handles personal information. It covers this website (djgroups.in), our enquiry forms, the calls and messages our team sends you afterwards, and the advertising we run on third-party platforms.

It is written against India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. In that Act's language, you are the Data Principal and DJ Square Infraa is the Data Fiduciary — the party responsible for what happens to your information.

What we collect

Information you give us

  • Enquiry forms. Your name and phone number are required. Email, the project or service you are interested in, your location and anything you type into the message box are optional.
  • Landowner / joint development enquiries. Plot size, plot location and your notes, so we can assess whether a JDA is feasible before we call you.
  • Channel partner enquiries. Company name, contact person, phone, email and the project you want marketed.
  • Conversations. What you tell our team by phone, WhatsApp or email, and our notes from those conversations — budget, preferred locality, site-visit plans, follow-up dates.
  • Documents, only where a transaction needs them — for example identity or ownership documents during a booking or a land agreement. We ask for these directly; never through this website.

Information collected automatically

  • Anonymous visit counts — described in the next section.
  • Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider, including IP addresses, for security and fault diagnosis. We do not use these to build a profile of you.

We never ask for your password, OTP, card number, CVV or bank details on this website — and no one from DJ Square Infraa will ask you for them over the phone. Any message that does is not from us.

How we count website visits

We keep a simple count of how many pages are viewed on this website each day, so we know which pages are useful and whether our advertising is bringing people here. It is built and run by us, on our own servers, and it is deliberately minimal.

  • It records which page was viewed, on which day, and the country the visit came from — each added to a daily total.
  • The country is worked out from the network your connection travels through, not from your device's location services. We are never asked for, and never receive, GPS or precise location. No city, state, district or coordinate is collected — only the country.
  • It stores no cookie, no name, no IP address, no device fingerprint and no advertising identifier.
  • Your browser keeps a small local flag so a repeat visit on the same day isn't counted twice. That flag never leaves your device — our server receives only a yes/no.
  • The result is a set of daily totals — views per page and views per country. There is no record in it that could be traced back to you, and none can be reconstructed.

Clearing your browser's site data for djgroups.in removes that local flag.

Why we use your information

We use what you give us to do the thing you contacted us about, and to run the business around it:

  • To respond to your enquiry — call you back, send project details, pricing, floor plans or brochures, and arrange a site visit.
  • To route it to the right person — enquiries are assigned to a team member in our internal CRM based on the project or service involved.
  • To follow up while you are deciding, and to keep you updated on a project you have expressed interest in.
  • To assess a land or partnership proposal you have made to us.
  • To complete and record a transaction, and to keep the records that tax, RERA and company law require us to keep.
  • To improve this website and understand which pages and campaigns work, using the anonymous counts above.

Our legal basis is your consent, given when you submit a form or ask us to contact you, together with the legitimate uses the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 allows — such as fulfilling a request you voluntarily made, and complying with the law.

Advertising and measurement

We advertise our projects and services digitally — principally on Google (Search, Display and YouTube) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and from time to time on other platforms, property portals and social networks. Two things follow from that, and you should know both.

Enquiries that reach us through a platform

Some of our ads carry a form you fill in without leaving the platform (for example a Meta lead-form ad or a Google lead form). When you submit one, that platform passes us the details you entered. We receive them exactly as if you had used a form on this website, and this policy applies to them from that point on. How the platform itself handled your data before that is governed by its privacy policy, not ours.

Measurement and remarketing tags

Advertising platforms provide small pieces of code — pixels, tags and conversion trackers — that report which ad brought a visitor to a website and whether they went on to enquire. They also enable remarketing: showing our ads again to someone who has already visited us. Where such tags are present, the platform sets its own cookies or identifiers in your browser and receives data directly, under its own privacy policy — Google's or Meta's, not ours.

As of 12 September 2026, the only measurement running on djgroups.in is our own anonymous counter described in section 3. No third-party advertising or analytics pixel is installed on this website. If that changes, this section and the date above will be updated.

Controlling ad personalisation

  • Google: My Ad Center and Ad Settings.
  • Meta: Settings → Ads → Ad preferences, inside Facebook or Instagram.
  • Your browser's own controls for blocking or clearing third-party cookies.

Calls, SMS and WhatsApp

When you submit an enquiry or ask us to call you, you are asking to be contacted — so our team will call, message or WhatsApp you about that enquiry, and may follow up more than once. This applies even if your number is registered on the National Do Not Call / DND registry, because you approached us directly.

Calls may be logged in our CRM — who called, when, and a short note of the outcome — so that a colleague picking up your file knows what was already discussed.

Tell us to stop at any time and we will. Say so on a call, reply STOP on WhatsApp, or email djsquareinfra@gmail.com. We will stop marketing contact and keep only what we are legally required to keep.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not trade contact lists. We share it only in these situations:

  • Our own team. Employees and authorised staff who need it to handle your enquiry, through a login-protected internal system with role-based access.
  • The builder of a partner project. Where your enquiry concerns a project we market as a channel partner rather than one we built, completing the transaction requires us to pass your details to that builder. Every such project on this site is labelled “in partnership with” the builder concerned, so you always know before you enquire.
  • Service providers. Hosting, database, messaging and communication providers who process data on our instructions — principally Google (Firebase / Google Cloud). They may not use your data for their own purposes.
  • Professional advisers — lawyers, auditors, bankers — where a transaction requires it.
  • Authorities, where the law, a court or a regulator requires disclosure.

Cookies, browser storage and third-party content

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. It uses your browser's local storage for one purpose only — the repeat-visit flag described in section 3 — and any cookies strictly needed to serve the pages securely.

Some pages embed content hosted elsewhere: project walkthrough videos (YouTube or Vimeo) and location maps (Google Maps). When such content loads, the provider can set its own cookies and see that you viewed that page. We have no control over those cookies, and the provider's privacy policy governs them.

Our website also links out to third-party sites — property portals, partner builders, social media. Once you follow a link, this policy stops applying and theirs begins.

Where it is stored, and for how long

Your information is stored on Google Firebase / Google Cloud infrastructure in the asia-south1 (Mumbai) region — that is, within India. Our internal system is reachable only by named, authorised users who sign in with a phone number and a one-time password; there is no public sign-up. Data is encrypted in transit.

  • Enquiries that do not proceed are kept while they are commercially live and are then closed in our system. We review and clear inactive records periodically.
  • Customers and transactions are kept for as long as the relationship lasts, and afterwards for the period tax, RERA, contract and company law require.
  • Anonymous visit counts (including the per-country totals) carry no personal data and are kept indefinitely as aggregate totals.

No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. What we commit to is reasonable, current safeguards and prompt action if something goes wrong.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask us to:

  • Show you what personal data of yours we hold and who we have shared it with.
  • Correct or complete anything inaccurate or out of date.
  • Erase your data, where we are not required to keep it.
  • Withdraw your consent to being contacted. This does not undo processing already carried out lawfully.
  • Nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.

Write to the Grievance Officer at the address in the contact block below. We may need to verify your identity — usually by confirming the phone number you originally contacted us on — before we act.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your complaint, you may escalate it to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

This website and our services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information about anyone under 18, and we do not target advertising at children. If you believe a child's information has reached us, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices change — for example if we add a measurement tag, a new enquiry channel or a new service. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and the version on this page is the one that applies. Where a change materially affects how we use your information, we will make that clear rather than rely on the date alone.
